The RME PCIe AES32 is house in a convolver PC which runs linux and BruteFIR. I wanted to make the PC more like HIFI, so I converted a HFX case into this one. The front plate and the panel is custom made. Doesn’t it look familiar to a commercial brand?

Internally, I also wanted to make everything fanless so heatsink all the way. I even converted the SMPS to use heatpipes.

Uli has also kind enough to install LIRC and if you use iMon, you can control the whole PC like a High End equipment.
